What a way to end a great adventurous year (literally!! did skydiving in Aug 2010!!..check out my vdo @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LH6SEwZhDJU couldn't get the videographer at bungee jump :()...

My friend and me went for both sides-front and back. Believe me, I enjoyed the hell out of this experience. I simply loved it. My wife was saying that I really enjoyed it...how she knows??...hehe I was screaming like a lion as if I have reached the top of Mount everest (which is in fact in my list of adventures to do)...but all in all it was an out of the world experience to just jump...it was different from skydive which I did tandem...so here in bungee jumping we need to do all by ourself...but my friend doing before me gave me some insight of how to do....GO BIG...thts the way the instructor/owner was saying when he saw my friend taking 2 mins to make his first jump which way over wht the instructors expect...(we are supposed to jump in 1-2 seconds from the time we are on the other side of the rail).

lets see whts next in my list may be hot air ballon ride in Medford, OR soon....will keep u guys posted.
cogitating abulu

MJ-The Magician!!!

Ever since he died on the Thursday the June 25th 2009, my genuine interest for his music took birth. As the media and the world Proclaimed that MJ attained immortality with his death and commanded the fanfare and adulation from the people world wide for his music more than what he got when he was alive. I was one of those who realized very late that his music was Magic and Simply Mellifluos, energetic, calming, rocking all at one time. If Human natureor we are the world were the epitome of his soothing effect, I would say innumerable ones like Dirty Diana, Man in the Mirror, Dangerous, and many others showed the hard pop/rock nature and yet very much "want-to-listen-all-the-time" kind of music and the ones which probably made him the King of Pop. But of course MJ cannot be complete without a mention of his Masterpiece Thriller Album and all his songs (yeah I mentioned Human nature before from Thriller album) in that album. I like every song in that album literally and bought the 25th anniversay release album (which contained some not-so-great remixes also from Akon and others) within a week of his death and later on became so crazy that bought another two cds (The Essential of Michael Jackson). This was the only time I bought CDs to hear/watch music/vdos ever in my whole life (that was amazing in itself that I never bought and hence was so much missing on good stuff).

Anyways this is my first of many blogs I would write on MJ and his timeless classics as I feel it is a way of paying tribute to the real and only international star to date.
cogitating abulu

Kate Winslet.

Beautiful, no doubt. But after seeing “The Reader” and especially “Revolutionary Road” I felt really good about her acting and talent in general she possesses and a re-eavaluation that how talented people are in Cinema.

I feel a good cinema happens when two things happen simultaneously -1) A great team of behind the scenes people 2) Actors who can immerse themselves into the roles they are enacting and give perfect 100%. I thought Kate Winslet had achieved something of that sorts in both the movies as “Hanna schmitz” and as “Mrs. Wheeler”. I saw Oscars-2009 and thought that Kate Winslet had over-reacted when she got the Award for Best Actress for “The Reader”. But after watching these movies and how much effort she had put in those roles, I just thought that it was Great!! Simply great….
cogitating abulu

Hit by H1N1

I think I am well on track with my 3rd attempt of becoming an active blogger and reviving my writing skills but certainly down metabolically with the Flu of the year—Swine Flu.

Had an absolutely amazing Smokeys trip followed by an amazing 1 week of fever. Never realized that it would have been the swine flu until yesterday when the Doctor had finally discovered I guess…tht was bad that it was diagnoized a lill late. I was upset with the late diagnosis. Again back to work from home to avoid from being the messenger of the flu. Doctor was saying that it is declining and that my body might well take care of fighting it out and avoided giving any antibiotics. Anyways I believe doctor coz that’s the only thing I can do as I did not get the Degree in General Medicine ( nothing against Doctor but my own frustration for having the fever for such a long time and possibly taking steps quicker from my side).

Anyways it is amazing how people get scared away when we say we have some contagious disease, esp in this country. Undoubtedly its good to be cautious and people here are certainly more educated over the contagious diseases, but still it was funny/amazing to experience that first handJ

Btw some facts:

1) Swine flu gets its name due to the virus involved in this flu contains a combination of genes from swine, avian and human influenza viruses…

2) Some common symptoms which please make sure to take a note of early on:

fever, which is usually high, but unlike seasonal flu, is sometimes absent

cough

runny nose or stuffy nose

sore throat

body aches

headache

chills

fatigue or tiredness, which can be extreme

diarrhea and vomiting, sometimes, but more commonly seen than with seasonal flu

And most importantly visit doctor as soon as you have any doubts…do not delay!!!

cogitating abulu

Great Smoky Mountains....Nov 2009

Gatlinburg...Pigeon Forge....Fall colors....adventure sports...camping...hiking....skiing

Yeah, I think these were the words/phrases that I have been hearing ever since I came to USA whenever there was a discussion about Smokies. Finally got the chance to visit this place along with my wife and a couple of friends. It was a good company and a great trip.

I think I did not mention Rock climbing in my opening line...please add that....coz I think that one experience is what according to me made it a great trip. Yes Rock/Mountain climibing. No this was not easy, that much I can certainly promise, coz there were some people including my sweet wife :) who stopped at the middle of the climb and gave up to venture to the top of the peak. And I do not really blame them, it was certainly a tough one and a small negligence might very well end up disastrous (without any exaggeration). Myself, I had always this awe for mountain/rock climbers...may be the initial fascination would have been due to movies like Cliffhanger or Mi2 where Tom cruise is cruising from one cliff to another (a similar act was dismally shown in a Balakrishna movie:))...anyways so this fascination made me to climb the rocks at my University and I started to increase my liking for hiking esp steep and challenging ones. So this Rock climbing act was the end of the "Chimney Tops" Trail...we had a hell of a time during this whole expedition. And due to our timing, you know what, it was snowing intermittently and it did snow when we were at the top of the climb...it was simply amazing...I would have loved to stay more to enjoy the hard-work and to relish the scenic beauty but my beauty down below attracted me more:))

After this adventure, (I would certainly rank this and Mission peak in bay area as best and second best trails I had ever taken up...But my aim is to go for some kind of expedition in Himalayas as my 2nd BIL did...he says its a very good exp and I can bet it would have been...also another such expedition is to go on foot to shabarimalais in kerala...lets c when they would materialize) we had another different kind of adventure...it was Horse back riding:) it was fun....Stirrups, saddle, reins, horse shoe-- saw them real close:) it was amazing how we forget those terms. Madhavi's horse name was Barney and mine was Scottey...it was 1 hour ride. The horses were walking and we were calmly sitting on them...Barney and Scottey two sweet horses:)

We had also went to "Laurels Falls" Trail between these two adventures. This one was average normal trail with a small falls at the end. It was good.

By this time we were pretty tired and went to Blaine's restaurant..yeah btw had been to NO way Jose's rest the previous night...so yeah we were eating pretty fine outside in this trip...my friend was saying I was turning to be more American way which I want to really change:)

Anyways, next day we started off with food again yeah :) as we got off late, we had a brunch at Pancake pantry and then headed towards Ober Gatlinburg via airtram. That place was fun. We started off with a 3 hr ice skating...and oh my god kids were just skating off but we had to hold onto the rails to avoid embarrasemet until my friend Rakesh reminded the basic principle of life..."Abhi, jitna ghirega utna sekega re, chodd us rail ko aur try kar". I spent last 30 minutes on the ice turf without holding the rail...:) hopefully both Madhavi n myself would do better the next time. After this adventure we went for a skylift and came down thru a slide (it was called alpine slide rightfully I would guess).

We then had subway sub and headed off to the night driving to Jacksonville. Btw between Rakesh n myself we drove almost 22 hrs to and fro both the times being night till dawn:) it was fun driving: having coffee, listening to music, keeping the eyes wide open as 2 other lives were in our hands;)(and eyes..literally:)). And for lodging we went to Cherokee springs cabins where Jacuzzi was the highlight:) next time I think we would prefer to go for the cabins which were supposedly more close to nature due to the absence of the electricity...don't u think...

i bet it would be.....i would go next time for a longer vacation and do more mountain climbing and hiking if I could...

Thanks to the Mother Nature....u r Beautiful!!!!!
cogitating abulu

Finally Back to blogging.

After a long gap, felt like writing something on my blog website. Actually my friend Sandeep started his and that gave me some push to start mine back.

During this gap(2 years) lots of things have happened, most importantly marriages of my sister (feb 2007) and myself (feb 2008). Yes I got married in feb of this year to a sweet beautiful lady.

Anyways so during this 2 years I have again have been travelling to different places both in India(Delhi, Chandigrah, chennai, tirupathi) and USA(Raleigh, st.louis, Atlanta, Hunt valley, Baltimore, Reston, Mountain view) and now finally in Jackonville FL and have been put up here for the longest duration in a city after my Masters at Starkville.

And during these two years I had different hairdos too. Long hair to bald to long hair to normal hair(for my marriage on the insistence of my father and fiance at tht time) to long hair to pony and finally to Bald today. yes just got a bald look back today.

Already its time to sleep but I am glad that I have finally hit the blog world back....n thnx to sandeep for staring his blog...
cogitating abulu

Project in St.Louis.

After a break of 8 days I got my next project at St.Louis. It all happened very quick as the requirement was urgent. The interview happened on Tuesday (10th oct 2006) evening and the decision was conveyed to me on wednesday morning and I was to report on Thursday morning. I had to travel 10.5 hrs from Atlanta, GA to St.Louis, MO on wed afternoon. It was all in all good fun to see the things change so fast as I was wondering to go to India until wednesday morning as I was not positive of how things were going. I suppose the patience paid me off. Once again learnt that perseverance is the key here in consultancy world.

And coming to st.louis I was shocked at the cold weather unlike in Atlanta and I fear if I have enough winter clothing with me(I still have left a lot of stuff in ATL). Lets c. And I was made to work like a dog on thursday and fri no wonder why I was recruited so fast(there was an urgent deliverable on Monday). The work is almost complete except for 2 tasks. Hope to get it done by monday evening.

And I had good fun meeting my old pal from my university over here. We had some drinks and shared the sweet old memories.

Guys, one other shocking thing is I am going to end up being a room-mate to my functional lead. I donno how I would take tht(seeing the same man throughout the day, hope he is kewl, which he looks till now:-)) ).

I shall keep updated u ppl with the happenings in my life. Was a good one to say. The week days were fine but the weekend was really something. Went to CNN center and the Centennial olympic park opposite the CNN center, followed by a great lunch at Ted's Montana Grill across the street of CNN. Had a stroll on the lanes of Atlanta and went to the Westin's Sun-dial bar and view. It is rotating one and had a great view of Atlanta from the 75 storeyed building.
cogitating abulu

Some great quotes from the movies I have seen!!!

Forrest Gump: I don't know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floatin' around accidental-like on a breeze. But I, I think maybe it's both, maybe both happening at the same time.

Forrest Gump:
"Mom always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

The Gladiator:
"My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. It was a good variety movie but at some times not tht captivating as it could be.

Hide and Seek(Robert De Niro)=>It was a very gud thriller. It has a feel of sixth sense where we get to know at the very end of the movie abt a basic fact on which the movie revolves. Rober de niro and the lill girl (I beg ur pardon I donno her name) did a gr8 job indeed.

Final Destination2=> After seeing its prequel I thought this would be too, as thrilling….but asides the thrilling aspect of the movie the sequel turned out to be real gross. May be one can stop with its prequel.

De Lovely=>It’s a musical(jazzish) love story with sensitivity….it was a gud movie and I felt like I was watching too many movies of these types (I saw “The English Patient” a few days back and it has similar sensitivity with more higher intensity though). But the Jazz songs, I felt were really brilliant. It’s a gud watch but I felt the story could have a better punch to offer.

The quite American(Brendon Fraser)=> I thought it was waste of time to see that. I just don’t like movies of such type. It was again a love story where the story I felt really lacked a direction.

Devil’s Advocate(Al Pacino, Keanu Reeves)=> It was a gud one with variety. Keanu reeves with his innocence and Al Pacino with his usual panache for delivering punch-ful dialogues steal the show. It has a very strong message to convey.

Don Juan De Marco(, Marlon Brando)=>hmmm...do watch this movie if u wanna see something of different genre which u might not have seen till date….may be thts an exxageration. But how the mind can act and influence others has been shown quite well.

One Hour Photo(Robin Williams)=>I felt It was a very controlled performance by Robin Williams. It was very painful to see such an ending for such a small wish of the protagonist. I had expected a much more effective climax. But the director may have wanted to drive the point in a very straight way.

Fahrenhype(anti to Michael Moore's Farenheit)=>I went to movie gallery to pick Fahrenheit 9/11 but picked this one mistakenly. As I haven’t seen Fahrenheit 9/11 I couldn’t judge the film in a way I could have. But the narration was lucid.

Farenheit 9/11=>yep i brought it just after seeing Farenhype so not to miss the formers's point. It had many discomforting facts like the way Mr.Bush won in 2000, and his links with Bin Laden family. And especially the coverage of how Iraq war was a whim of Bush for oil was very very convincing.

Bowling for Columbine=>It was a classic by Michael Moore, the one who directed “Farenheit-9/11”. To be frank this documentary was more engrossing than “Farenheit-9/11” for me. It dealt with the guns, how they were freely used in US and how US stands number one in count for murders through guns. It mainly focused on the Columbine school shootings.

Memento(Guy Pearce)=>I had seen “Ghazini” the remake of this film in Tamil and Telugu. So as such I know the story b4 hand. But I really liked the way the direction was done. I am sure if the same movie was released in India not many could get to know wht was going in movie….the intelligent directors….but do they need to be so convoluted to make a movie, which is supposed to un-nerve the people in their leisure than to strain the audience for even understanding the movie???

The Constant Gardener(Ralph Feiness, Rachel Weiz)=> It was again about a conspiracy at highest levels of adminstartion by bigwig companies who treated the African people as guinea pigs for their dangerous medicine just for money. How insensitive ppl can be???hmmm

dudes there are real gud movies out there...in english....but now i will take a break and try to shift to reading ....enough of movies....
cogitating abulu

Rose Bowl to Super Bowl

Ha ha...tht’s how my frnd describes my transition frm student life to work life. For sure this is not the end of my student life…but yeah may be for a while I shall be certainly in my new Job at BE(Trade symbol for Bearing Point)…yeah I m now a full time employee at Bearing Point. The work ethics n eviron has for sure enticed me….but the routineness is the thing which makes me to think again …once again abt this IT field….I m sure the “routineness” does exist in any job…but may be to put it more clearly…is to bang head on the computer for min 8hrs for 5 days a week might slowly take the toll of a person….hey don’t mistake me…These opinions crop up as I have recently met a Manager frm Accenture who gave up a job of $120k and ended up as a sales agent in world Toyota to stay away frm the stress in IT world, frm whom I bought my new car…. yes I bought new car. Ok to say exactly….there are truly much better professions than IT profession….
Ok for me it’s a long time as I have to get some real solid exp in my current field before taking up any decision….for now I am surely njoying new ppl, job, and place. I thought my passion for learning ended up many years back…but I feel nope…it still exists and I am glad to note the same.

Shall certainly post more frequently n certainly more exciting posts in my blog….stay tuned. Last weekend my frnd srinivas and myself drove two cars (which made a junta of 9) to memphis. Seenu had come to our place for a break. We enjoyed a lot during the trip esp with getting lost a few times during the journey. But the darshan of sri venkateshwara swamy was a much needed one for almost all of us as few discovered that they have forgotten the GOD, being getting involved in the daily chores. We had sumptuous meal at mayuri restaurant which I had after almost 5 months, the last time being when I was in India in summer. We covered the Indian grocery store to get some stuff. We went to wolfshase gallleria mall only to find it closed by the time we reached it.

Then we drove during night to get back to home by the dawn time.
It was a gr8 exp as far I was concerned as I could drive in the safest way possible.
PS: May be my speed would be decreased ...courtsey a ticket from the cop....But I think I realized tht driving within speed limits is much better after the Tupelo trip the next day....all in all a gr8 trip.
cogitating abulu

STALIN

The caption-"The System needs his Rule" does rock. He was the one who showed to the world(or atleast to India ...as not all ppl worship Rama or Krishna or any mythological gods tht Indian ppl worship) how the GOD looks like. His histrionics were just the best even to date(I agree tht even chiru(whom myself and most other ppl agree is the other most influential star in Telugu cinema) may not match when it comes to playing those mythological roles). Yes I and aslo the whole world agrees that he is man with great acting talent. He could don almost any role with absolute ease. But like any other big star(in most of the cases), he too couldn't judge when to quit the films and did some below par films in his later years of life. But may be this is not the point of concern here. So all in all NTR is undoubtedly the BEST actor in Telugu Film Industry(Though being a very very ardent fan of Megastar Chiru, I agree to this particular point , as that is true).Hence he is called "Natasarabouma".

Coming to Megastar. He rose to the greatest of the heights today from the lowest of the roles he played in his formative years. He was like a perfect role model for the general populace who wanted to make it Big in Telugu Cinema. Chiru did all sorts of roles, like villain characters in his initial years to the most influential roles of late. He showed that he could do any kind of role or could display great histrionics with commendable ease. These films could make u remember his varied performances:Khaidi, Abhilasha, Punnami Nagu, Subhalekha, Challenge, Vijetha, chatabbayi, Aaradhana, Pasivadi Pranam, swayam krushi,Rudraveena,Yamudiki mogudu, kaidi no 786, kondaveeti donga, gang leader, gharana mogudu, apadbhandavudu, mutha mesthri, alluda majaka, hitler, master, sri manjunatha, indra , tagore.......
I have missed many other gr8 movies. This is the repertoire he has. Hence he is the megastar....

Ok by now u might have understood why my title is NBK...
cogitating abulu

sharaabi

I have not been an ardent fan of Amitabh Bachan or hindi movies during my childhood years. My cousins who mostly were in northern states of India used to always praise about Amitabh's histrionics, which I never bothered to look at. We were more dominated by our AP Amitabh in form of chiru. Ok, but when I saw Sholay in around my 10th standard for the first time, I really liked the performance of Big B. Then onwards I used to sit b4 TV whenever his films were telecast but even then not an ardent fan.
Yesterday we saw Sharaabi(ordered frm Netflix), and again I was amazed at the ease with which Mr.Big B performs any character. Ok leaving aside his immortal charisma in Indian cinema, I was actually amazed to see the differnce in film making and style involved in the films than and now. Sharaabi was made in 1984, and almost all the elments of film-making has undergone a mojor change, I feel. Like the screenplay, sets, music, Dialogues, lyrics in the songs....
Actually in the beginning I felt it boring to see the movie as I was more accustomed to the generation-X movies, but when we sat down and saw the entire movie I felt it has its own effect on the viewer and may be in many cases a longlasting effect than compared to present generation movies.
Hope to see some more flicks of the golden era of Indian cinema.
cogitating abulu

pawan's antics.

He is a bundle of talent. Though his initial movies couldn't be big hits, he showed his talent on screen with the movies-Tholiprema, Thammudu, Badri, and Kushi being super duper hits. He became a super star in his own way. But then with superstardom and success comes over-confidence, which is the major hurdle that new stars have to ovecome to become a long-lasting great hero. In this particular case megastar chiru could really handle it in a very good way.
So coming to pawan with those hits he thought he could very well do all the elements in film-making by himself(like direction, stunts, choregarphy et.al), and directed the film-"johnny". It was an utter flop. Then under the tutelage of chiru he supposedly came two steps back(of course for his own good) and ageed to do films under other directors. Just when people started thinking that his next film bagaram will bring him the fame that kushi has brought, I hear that he is going to direct another film by his own self, with no songs and no heroines.
May GOD save this talent from being washed away.
Hope he will become a true successor to Megastar Chiru.
cogitating abulu

first reading on a biography.

Just completed reading my first book on biography(on Dean W Colvard, he is more famous in our univ on whose name stands our union-the food canteen). It was like going thru one's life very closely and trying to get to know his character and his strengths and weaknesses. Felt tht writing a biography is a complex job as a lot of roaming and meeting all kinds of ppl related to the person on whom the biograogy is to be written on. It was a major blow. We were given holidays on monday and tuesday at our univ. The power was gone from monday evening till noon of tuesday. On monday night I enjoyed the strong winds in the rain with my pal. We did feel tht the winds were indeed quite strong. But we had realized the havoc brought abt by Ms.Katrina only on tuesday afternoon when we could switch on tv. New Orleans was under water as it was below the sea level and the city was just flooded. And the brunt of the hurricane was beared by the coastal cities of Mississippi(Biloxi, Gulfport). I got a few calls frm near n dear abt my safety as Mississippi was in headlines of not only US news but also on international. Yest I heard tht the price of gas has gone up considerably due to the hurricane, I was happy tht I dint buy a car which was hindering back in my mind for a few days now. But with this hurricane, I dropped the whole Idea of buying the car...who wants to take the extra burden of gas.
I donated some amt to red cross as I couldnt just sit and do nothing for the havoc and destruction brought abt by the katrina.
Now the days are coming to normalcy. But Nature has its own hard ways to release its fury.
cogitating abulu

gandhi vs others

We had a very passionate discussion the other day(due to katrina power was gone for the whole night)on gandhi and his principles and the others(which include bagath singh, subhas chandra bose etc...). One group was on gandhian side and the other was on the side of others. But when the discussion was going very intense I felt neither of the groups had enough knowledge on either of the ways freedom struggle was done. I thought why not put it in my blog so that good sources might be suggested to read on about the gandhian and other ways of freedom struggle. Do pour in your thoughts and sources for more knowledge(preferabbly books and not the net).
cogitating abulu

The Alchemist-By Paulo coelho

Just completed reading this book. Quite a few frnds had recommended to read this book. The book had some good message. But I somehow felt tht it could have given much more punch for the message it was trying to convey than it actually had delivered.
That said, the book is a good reading and certainly has a sweet message to unfold. The "Personal Lengend" funda is very much close to wht many ppl might be feeling but the same fear which the author says hinders many to realize the same. Also I personally experienced the Beginner's luck which the author descirbes and the difficult tests in the very end.
Also I felt, does the author wants to convey two messages at a time when the boy realizes that the treasure is in back home...one being tht the treasure is in his own courtyard(may be in terms of knowing thy self within than exploring the world outside), and secondly that the treasure is yours once all the hardship is endured....not to mention any of the ways does have a moral in it.
On the whole I felt it a good book to read which gives a message for all.
cogitating abulu

chitra's mellifluous song.

Was listeneing to Parineet's song "Raat hamari tho..." sung by Chitra. This part of chinese story was actually narrated by one of my chinese students. So as most of the chinese students come to US with an I20 of Phd, they mostly get financial assistance, as the US supports any kind of reserach and are ready to literally go to any extent to have the Phd guys in their kitty. So far so good...ok good for chinese students....

PS1:This is how I see the chinese student's situation to be in general and pardon me if I am gravely wrong which I dont think I am.

Now, being an Indian I suppose I can give a much better picture of an Indian student's mindset who come to USA, and their travails here. Mostly Indians come to US with dollars in mind. They use the opportunity to come to US to make fast money and go back home and enjoy that hard(eerrr...not sure...) earned money. But here there a few exceptions too who have just the highly ranked US univs in mind and hope to make it as big as a nobel laureaute(pardon me if any spelling mistake) and whose main aim is to satisfy their ego by publishing as many papers as they can....
Ok taking the democractic notion into consideration, I shall go ahead and elaboarte more on the former students situation(Lets call him Dollar Guy=DG actaully here Guy can be taken in literal sense as very low percentage of female graduates come here ...again this is a debatable point or say publishable article why not girls??). DG joins enggg (in most of the cases ....again this is a point which I hope to publish in my later articles..why Enggg?), . In 3rd year or so takes hold of barrons book as a child holds of ABC's book. writes the GRE exam and applies in mostly a random way to US univs.completes his Enngineering, goes to visa interview and even though he has no interest in a Masters in Science lands in USA due to the pressure from society or from within himself may be to earn money in a FF mode. Ok so he just shuts his brain off and so does his parents who are ready to shell off lacs now thru loans for a golden future.
By this time the DG guy has only one thing in mind to do MS and earn Bucks, bcoz he thinks thts how his life would be very sweet later. And may be his latent talent is burried at this point only and creativity kicked off. The moment he lands in USA he might feel very ecstatic but in a day or two he finds no hidden pleasures here either which he thinks when he was back in India. He starts to feel homesick though he might have gud circle of desis around. He starts questioning his decision. He starts to kick his own ass.
And to make the situation worse, he came for MS and US univs dont give them that royal treatment that a Phd guy gets and so he has to struggle for tht assistanship to clear the loan that he has taken and also not to borrow another sem's loan. He prints a dozen of resume and goes to alllllll depts, even depts which are in no way related to his course of study. He feels visceral abt this when he returns empty hand by evening. He struggles like this and finally makes it into some position or may be not!!!. But he finally does his MS may be on a credit frm citibank. By now he feels US is no fancy a place to be in, and tht India was far far gud(after all home is home dudes!!!). But wht to do he has loans back home to clear and also he started off frm India to return as a rich man. So again something comes in between and he joins a consultant and gets a Job. And as he gets job parents back home might feel its time to get my son married. And may be this poor DG might even end up marrying hoping for a better life....dudes marriage...ooops the story doesnt get any better i suppose. And now its time for parents to C USA. After all they are his parents and he wants to please his dear parents.Parents come but they dont like the atmosphere here either feel it gud to stay in India and return back. Jr DG might be procreated in the mean time....and somewhere by this time the couple feel much easy to stay here only then to go to India and make their parents visit them to USA regularly....

PS2:
But guys doesnt somewhere this DG miss a lots of things????????back at home....
He knew by the end of MS tht home is home but still he acts like a hypocrite to himself and doesnt live the life he wants to ....the joyous life... the life with parents, relatives and of course dearest frnds.
And he might be feeling each day that his decision is not the one he wanted to take....
DG might be thinking of a different story altogether back in India.....
Is it worth all this????
Is MS in US a big trap after all??
So do u wanna be this DG?
I hope not.

PS3:This I suppose is the story of many DG's but listen to ur hearts and take the right decision...after all life is a life to be LIVED and not whiled away.
cogitating abulu

clean the filth!!!

hey this is a revelation of some sorts if this is what actually my frnd told. This mortal body needs some sleep daily until it gets immortal :-)
How much of sleep is required for a human body. It depends may be on the depth of the sleep. That shows his stamina in both forms of the game. He actaully did more than a good job to do so especially being a captain, given the track record of our former captains who somehow loose the form once they take on captaincy of the team. And personally I feel dravid is much more a team man for his selfless performances and actually when the team is in need. He tries to keep his head over his shoulders even though he has tremendous craze n fan-following.
N his life is free of any scandals which many top stars have suffered in the history.
Hats off to chiru ---megastar!!!
cogitating abulu

last minute workers.

Eversince i joined engg at SNIST, the concept of one day batting...i.e reading in the last minute to be just good enough to clear the exams or to perform just wht u think is enough has become a concept tht is becomming part n parcelof my living style. even thought there is tons of work tbe done....which i have now....we....sorry I tend to procrastinate till tht point where there is just enough time to complete....i suppose only then the adrenalin starts pumping off.
But guess how can the mind be so accurate of judging the things just enough to not put ourseves in trouble!!!hey ehy.
cogitating abulu

dervish mind.

Today is the same state my mind is in---dervish.
random thoughts. just wanting to type in an incessant manner.
back in India when this used to happen I used to go my frnd's house near my place and we used to go out....or talk for extended period of time on varying topics...it was real fun.
And the pani puri stall near his house was our all time fav.
We almost ate daily there.
n ofcourse for bday parties chaitanaya dhaba or bawarchi or paraside were our hot spots. My sis had called me to know if I had reached safely(she is very caring!!!). Ok n for me I was like in no-man's land not sure of wht was happening. N then frm tht day onwards till this day I have experienced many things, understood world to some extent and more importantly abt myself. When I contemplate over the things I feel life doesnt look as simple and straight as it appeared to me when I was starting from India. I have experienced some real tough times and few sweet moments too. But all in all I realized how great our parents are who take care of us, not allowing anyone to say anything abt us, and supporting us all through our lives. This is a first hand experience vis-a-vis the world.
A great experience to experience, else we will be in delusion abt life!!!
Life is both sweet n bitter!!!!
cogitating abulu

DSL ghar mein!!!

I got DSL at home day b4 yest. But haven't you encountered yourself in such situations where -in, U end up having an argument with the other person just to prove that you are not a dunce and want to have an upper hand over the other. And the result as usaully will be that the two parties shun each other and tension prevails when ever they come across each other. Then they regret their deeds internally but the damn EGO comes in middle and they hestitate to accept their faults before other person. So frnds just be cool and keep silent in those circumsatnces in future. Being silent doesn't mean that U r inferior in any way, but instead U will be thrilled to note how U could control ur emontions in tht moment.Just think over it....
cogitating abulu

Meditation

Meditation for me is something which takes us away from distractions and makes us feel that there is something more (and less materialistic) to achieve in this world...and that is to control our own mind. I was introduced to a form of meditation("vippassana") at a very young age by my father. And I feel that it was one of the wonderful gifts tht my father gave to me. It is all about watching the breath go in and out and be equanimous about it. This really keeps the mind at peace. One day a new guy joined them saying tht he too belonged to the same institute to which they belong and said tht he wanted to be their frnd and frm tht day on he also used to be there in tht group. Then frm a day onwards he dint come. These guys thought why he wasnt coming n asked the panwala abt him. The panwala said "who sir, I never saw any new guy joining U ppl..." . They were stunned and went to the institute where they were studying....and to their horror he was a student there some 7 years ago and was dead in an accident 7 years ago. They were dumbstruckkkkkkkkkkk........
This a true incident which happened in a reputed institue giving coaching for EAMCET....so ???
cogitating abulu

sachin factor!!!

I saw few articles on sachin in mewspapers online, and i couldnt truly understand where sachin stands right now. The way a person is taken to gr8 heights and now being shown in different light is something not new to Indian media. But wht is the problem with sachin ....or is there any problem at all with him. He is a human and hence is prone to a few injuries right? And during that phase all players get out of touch and their performance does dip down....but he being sachin is making all the difference. We are so much accustomed to see him perform that now a bad phase(supposedly the longest of his career), and we have started to analyse too much on it and a few so called critics of the game have even put a fullstop to his career. Is that fair??
I feel he will certainly come back with a bang soon and shut the critics' critiques.
cheers sachin lovers!!!!
cogitating abulu

who am i?

hi dudes!!!
thought of doing something different apart frm the monotonic life...i m frm india came to do MS ---(abhi thak pata nahi chala woh kyo kar raha hoon)...in CS at MSU...
